Granite Lofts in Quincy MA

Many people like the fact that the lofts are located in a small city setting conveniently located within walking distance of the North Quincy Red Line MBTA Station, local stores and a bustling commercial area at the intesection of Billings Road and Hancock Street in North Quincy.
There are plenty of restaurants in the area ranging from asian eateries, american food and take out. You can also walk over the pedestrian access bridge to Newport Avenue in Quincy which will allow you to go to La Paloma (a very popular Mexican restaurant) as well as Chipotle which has been a favorite of folks in the area.
In addition to all of these conveniences, you will also enjoy access to the post office servicing the 02171 zip code as well as plenty of banks, a library and the Hannafod and the Stop and Shop grocery store.

Where are The Granite Lofts Located?
The project sits on an almost 2 acre site with the main entrance located at 120 Holmes Street in Quincy Mass 02171. This is in in the North Quincy section of Quincy. A couple of landmarks in the area include Eddie's Wheelhouse Diner and the Hannaford Supermarket.
When Was Granite Lofts Built?
The project was built in 2005. There are 75 individual in the complex.
The comeplex is sited on almost 2 acre block which takes up almost a whole city block. Granite Lofts condominiums are made up of two separate buildings which are separated by a landscaped courtyard.
What are the interiors like at The Granite Lofts?
When built, each unit was a little unique. The kitchens were outfitted with stainless steel appliances, granite counters and European style cabinets. Each unit either had bamboo floors or polished concrete floors
The units each have in unit laundry hookups. Each unit also has central air and some were equipped with ceiling fans. All units have very large windows.
Many of the bedrooms offer walk-in closets and bathrooms en-suite. Each residence provides open, lofty living space highlighted by dramatically high ceilings with exposed wood beams and wood decking visible from the floors above.
The bathrooms feature a European-style vanities backsplashed with white subway-style tile on shower/tub walls.
The buildings are each serviced by an elevator.
Most units have 2 full baths. This will vary from unit to unit.
The units feature off street parking included on the surface and some resale units may have garage parking is available.
What Do Lofts at Granite Lofts Sell for?
If you are considering selling or purchasing at The Granite Lofts, you need to understand that each loft is a little unique. In the last five years, there have been 33 closed sales in the Granite Lofts complex. The average sales price was around $285,000. The range was very wide. The least expensive unit sold in the complex conveyed at $159,000 and the most expensive unit sold at $349,000. What Things are in the area?
There are ton of restaurants, shops and services in the area. Just accross the way is a Bank of America Branch located at 440 Hancock Street. You can walk over the pedestrian bridge to access Marshall’s Clothing store and also Stop and Shop, La Paloma and Chipotle.
If you want a gym you can can go to Planet Fitness on Adams Street or the Quincy Athletic Club located at 100 Quincy Ave. Looking for a lazy weekend where you don't even cook breakfast, you can walk arond the corner to the Wheelhouse Diner located 453 Hancock Street. It does get crowded so you may want to call ahead at 617-328-3666.
You can walk less than 100 yards and get all of your groceries at the Hannaford Supermarket located 475 Hancock Street in Quincy. Should you want to call ahead to order anything their number is 617-472-6204.
A popular spot to hang out and have a bite to eat is the Panera Bread which is located just north of North Quincy High School at 200 Hancock Street. Maybe you want to have a lazy weekend in your loft, you can order take out from Panera at 617-328-5473.
When you need the MBTA?
You can head north on Hancock Street a couple of blocks to the North Quincy MBTA Red Line Station.
The Granite Lofts are located .3 miles or less than a 5 minute walk to the Red Line North Quincy “T” stop.
On the Red Line from North Quincy:
it will typically take about 16 minutes to South Station and 19 minutes to Park Street Station.
Many people like the Redline so that they can access stops in Cambridge. According to the MBTA website, it will take approximately 23 minutes from North Quincy to Kendall Square and about 30 minutes to the Redline Harvard Sqaure station.
